I recently sat down with Amato Vino winemaker Brad Wehr, and tasted about 123 of his wines, or so it felt.
Chocolate, dried herb, slate, dried flowers. Medium-bodied, dense and full of crushed rock tannin, boysenberry, chocolate, clean acidity, tannic and full to close. It’s a bold rendition of the grape, though it speaks confidently for sure.
