From McLaren Vale and sandy soil vines grown by Dave Gartelmann and Jim Zerella. Gentle, light maceration and off to old oak it goes. No filtering and fining.
Bright, jolly, fruitier red. Lots of plush texture, dark colour but freshness to taste, cherry juice meets cherry cola meets some faintly gamey and herbal characters. Any which way you come at it it has this sloshy, good times feel to it. The back palate skips a beat, but the texture is slippery then finds nice chew. Loveable stuff.
